Thanks so much for coming out last night. It was a huge success. We had LOTS of positive feedback from Food Lion, Parents, Teachers and most importantly….students! Which is exactly what we wanted…a true “community” event. Food Lion collected the math worksheets to create a display board for the store, which serves as another positive advertisement for everyone involved.

  Also…we had a total of 125 representatives from KSES/Suffolk Public Schools plus 5 representatives from Food Lion for a total count of 130. Not bad!!!!

Dear Kilby Shores Parent and/or Guardian,

The safety of your child is important to each of us.  Thank you for your patience as we transition into a more secure approach to safety during school dismissal.  Parent pick-up requires picture identification at all times.  Please be sure that all family members and other adults allowed to pick-up your child are recorded on your child’s sign-out permission form and are aware of the need to bring picture identification.  If you need to make changes to the sign-out permission form during the school year, please come to the school and do so.

For safety reasons, no child is allowed to walk home from school.  Students are either assigned to a bus or a parent/guardian must pick your child up.
