Congratulations to students from Kilby Shores Elementary School who recently placed first at the state competition of Odyssey of the Mind. After topping 10 teams from across Virginia, the Kilby Shores team will join students from around the world to compete in the 28th Odyssey of the Mind World Finals.

The Odyssey of the Mind program emphasizes creativity and teamwork. It makes learning fun while giving kids the change to explore their imaginations and express their creativity.

Kilby Shores competed at the Odyssey of the Mind World Competition May 23-26 at Michigan State University.Kilby Shores will be a buddy team from another country while at the competition.
