About Us

Kilby Shores Elementary School is nestled in the center of the Kilby Shores residential community.  The school houses students in grades from preschool through fifth grade. Our school’s mascot is the Kilby Shores Shark and the colors are blue, green and white.

Upon entering Kilby Shores, visitors are met by artwork by students that is showcased throughout the building. Students are recognized for their achievements on a routine basis.  We have a TV in the hallway that highlights our students of the month and displays artwork from our artists of the week!

Students who attend Kilby Shores have an array of experiences, which include participation in hands-on experiments, journal writing, talented art and music classes, student assemblies designed to reinforce the Standards of Learning, club days, field day, and a host of other activities.
